The script seemed a bit contrived at first but got better as the movie progressed. HATED the sub-plot with the kid suffering from cancer. I don't know any kid who talks like that and she creeped me out.
Tabu, as always, was ravishingly natural. AB does justice to his role.... I could totally see why she would fall for him. I saw No Reservations right after this and was disappointed to see that the first scene was lifted from it (which, in turn, was lifted from Mostly Martha).
