Review of Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (1984) by Travis W — 13 Mar 2005
Get Shorty.
Great acting, great idea, way too damn slow paced for me and way to much sidetracking. Almost made a passing grade for me...but fell short.
The Corsican Brothers.
I really like parts of this movie, but as a whole its not that great. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will always be comedy gods in my eyes.
The Breakfast Club.
What teen movies used to be...and need to be again. This movie dealt with alot of things happening to teens in its era with grace and well thought out jokes and plotlines. Pure gold here.
Shaolin Soccer.
A decent fiml with superb originality does well in my book but falls short of a better rating due to a bit of trying to hard to be funny and being a bit over the top. I like how the movie knows its not supposed to be taken seriously so it dosent try to be taken to seriously.
