Review of Cheaper by the Dozen (2022) by Jindai — 27 Mar 2022
It’s sad when a favorite actor is in a movie this overwrought and melodramatic. None of the kids can act, and the lines they are provided don’t even fit with their characters. Memes are decades out of place, it’s condescending on all levels, and fits strongly in the category of “Did not earn the remake reasoning” And most damning, as they tried to fit in every version of discriminated classes into one family, they made 2-dimensional versions of all.
Not even enjoyable as a background movie, because you look up, hoping you might see something interesting , and it turns out to be a black kid dressed as biker goth.
