Review of Cheaper by the Dozen (1950) by Robbie B — 16 Mar 2012
Cheaper By the Dozen does have its laughing moments, but for a movie overall, it is a disappointment. Steve Martin plays a father with who forces 11 of his 12 reluctant kids to move away from their lives all for a job to make more money.
This ultimately leads to chaos and trouble that offers very few laughs and, ultimately, not a completely heart-felt ending.
