There are Facebook posts about slapping your best friend or hitting them with your car for X amount of money, Cheap Thrills explores that with reckless abandon. A down on his luck family man with money problems bumps into an old friend at a bar, and are propositioned by a bored rich couple to do some things for cash.
Fifty bucks to get a woman to slap you in the face, fifty bucks to whoever does this shot first, kid's stuff. But when the events move into the rich couple's house, things take a much better and darker turn.
The movie only has one premise, and explores it fully. One more twist would have made it even better, but I was satisfied enough with the current film. Cheap Thrills is a decent thriller with bite.
