Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Nade S — 01 May 2009
This is a very well made film. The story is great, it's accurate and interesting... but it's FAR too long. I'm rating it as a whole, both films as one, as it was meant to be seen. It's almost 5 hours, and no movie should be that long.
Especially one with as little happening as this one. It's about as slow a movie I've seen in years, which takes a lot away from the story and makes it inaccessible to modern audiences. This story deserves a great movie made about it, but this isn't the one.
