Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Anna C — 26 Apr 2009

Can't believe I forgot to review this movie till now. Was a very good movie with really good performances all around, especially by Benecio Del Toro, who was perfect to play Che. I also thought the direction by Steven Soderbergh was excellent, I especially liked the inter-cutting between Che's trip to the United Nations and what was going on in Cuba.

Also learned from the movie a lot of things I didn't know about the Cuban Revolution. Just a good, powerful movie that tells an important story that people should see even if they don't agree with the way he did things.

Can't wait to see part 2!
