Review of Che: Part One (2008) by Kyle A — 02 Sep 2009
The first part of Che is an interesting portrait of revolutionary/murderer (depending on the side you take) Ernesto Guevara. Instead of showing us the conflicting views of Che, director Steven Soderbergh brings us into his perspective during the take over of Cuba.
Even if you feel no inclination in watching 'Che' because of it's subject matter check it out anyways, because Benicio Del Toro gives a brilliant performance (as does Demian Bichir, who should have gotten a supporting Oscar nod for his portrayal of Fidel Castro).
