You know you're in trouble when the movie starts out with a detailed map of the country it takes place in. I just could not get through this. It just kind of throws us into the story without really explaining what happening or what the character's personalities are.
I wonder why this got so much acclaim, since it's boring and hard to engage with. Because it's "accurate"? Well, "accurate" is not the same as "interesting," I'm afraid.
Needless to say, I will not be watching the second part.
