Review of Chatroom (2010) by James C — 05 Apr 2012
A very naive look at online behavior based on a stage play, and while it might have worked on stage, I can assure you it really didn't as a movie. It's impossible to feel for the characters, and the whole thing looked like a debut of some young English director that's trying to hard, which makes it extra weird to see it was Hideo Nakata (responsible for some all time J-horror classics like Ringu and Dark Water) who brought this to the screen.
Very disappointing.
