There are times when Nakata skilfully blends the real world with cyber unreality to illustrate how impressionable youngsters can end up wondering just which world they are in at any time. Nakata believes the Internet, although an extraordinary tool for communication, can allow freedoms of emotion that would be impossible to play out in "real" life in the same way that road rage is prevalent because motorists feel safe within the protective cocoon of their cars. Nakata skilfully takes us into the real and virtual lives of a group of London teenagers and shows us, with terrifying consequences, the power and ability to manipulate reality in a virtual world. Images of wrist-slashing, hanging and gun use are brief, but deeply uncomfortable all the same. Adapted from award winning playwright Enda Walsh's stage version - Chatroom touches on the darker side of social networking and depicts the power and influence these virtual worlds are capable of.

VERDICT: "In The Zone" - [Mixed Reaction] These kinds of movies are usually movies that had some good things, but some bad things kept it from being amazing. This rating says buy an ex-rental or a cheap price of the DVD to own. If you consider cinema, ask for people's opinion on the film. (Films that are rated 2.5 or 3 stars).
