Review of Chasing Liberty (2004) by Chloe D — 08 Jun 2008

This one's a bit of a guilty pleasure I think ... cheesy, badly acted in places and silly! But who cares, this is a perfect example of very very enjoyable trash, something to watch with a tub of ice-cream whilst chilling out on the sofa.

It is streets ahead of most other films of its kind, it doesn't rely on cheap gags for laughs and is on the whole incredibly sweet.

There are two huge highlights to this film the delightful Mandy Moore and the beautiful locations.

It's hard not to get swept away with the adventure of the film and the amazing scenery, the minute you turn it off you wish that you could hop on a train and travel wherever the tracks take you.
