One of Kevin Smith's best films, Chasing Amy is a very complex film. It features some bold performances from Jason Lee and Joey Lauren Adams, along perfectly restrained Ben Affleck. The humor finds a good balance between raunchy and sweet, and the film also gets kudos for its very realistic and heartbreaking ending.
Those who want to watch a smart, funny, and complex romantic comedy, Chasing Amy should be at the top of the list.
