Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Henri N — 26 Jul 2009
This is definitely Kevin Smith's most personal story and knowing that adds a lot to the film. He pulls compelling performances from his actors which help make the film so strong. Much like Clerks, he makes a little into a lot through the acting and script, only this time around the laughs are fewer, replaced with some really powerful dramatic moments.
