Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Jeffrey J — 07 Feb 2010
This is probably one of the best of Kevin Smith's films that I have seen. While I enjoy his other films, somewhat, this is actually the best work I've seen from Smith. The focus on loving another, no matter their past, and being friends through hard times is depicted beautifully.
While I believe that some things could have been left out, the theme of loving someone no matter what their past may be is whatâ??s important. I recommend this for all that like romance films with a twist, that can stand strong language, or for those that want to witness the insightful wisdom of Jay and Silent Bob.
