Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Don S — 04 Jul 2010
Guess I should read the ratings details. I was a bit taken aback by the frankness of the sexual language. This is a love story based on lies. That angle never works for me when I'm trying to enjoy a movie.
I never really felt the connection and didn't buy the lesbian being "turned" aspect. I liked the comic book elements, and Jay and Silent Bob are their usual comedic relief selves. Only an average movie at best.
