Review of Chasing Amy (1997) by Dustin G — 12 Apr 2012
This is basically your typical Kevin Smith movie. A ton of dialog, issues being not so subtly danced around, some good humor etc.. With some movies this works really well, but I think this one lost track of the humor and got a little too serious for it's own good and Affleck's believability (I believed they were real tears, I just didn't believe he was sad).
Lee did a pretty good job keeping the humor rolling as best as possible though, and Adams was very good in this role. I didn't love it, but it wasn't bad.
