Review of Charlie's Angels (2000) by Drew H — 29 Mar 2011
Just plain ridiculous fun. The dialogue is notably terrible and the "technology" in the film is laughably unrealistic. But there's something about watching three attractive, butt-kicking ladies in really over-polished action and eye-candy sequences that makes your mind turn off and just coast with the film.
The film itself plays out much like the Destiny's Child song that was popularized by it. Kitschiness aside, there are still some interesting, well-executed shots including two long tracking shots and well-choreographed (if impossible) fight sequences.
