Review of Charlie Wilson's War (2007) by Boris Nicolas E — 08 May 2011
An entertaining tale about politicking and war in Afghanistan in the 80s. Sharply scripted by Aaron Sorkin, and briskly paced by Mike Nichols, knows exactly how to keep things flowing. Philip Seymour Hoffman is particularly delightful to watch as a grumpy spy.
