It's interesting historically, but I think some facts might have been a little exaggerated in classic Sorkin style! It's at least a bit oxymoron to see USA fight beside Afghan troops strictly for humanitarian purposes knowing what happened a few years later!
Hanks and Roberts in easily forgettable roles and if you put aside Philip Seymour Hoffman's brilliant performance the film was actually pretty bland.
