Review of Charlie St. Cloud (2010) by Joe A — 27 Jan 2011

Good love story, but I feel like it could have been told better, there seemed to be some missing elements that would have made it better. The editing for this movie though was crap. I know who Zac Effron is, but this is actually my first movie of his i've seen. he's a decent actor and i'm secure enough to now understand why girls like him so much, but damn there were a lot of close up shots of him. This is my second movie with Amanda Crew, and I love her, she looks and seems to have the same mannerism as an ex of mine. I'm looking forward to seeing her in more movies.

I was disappointed and the fact that Kim Basinger was only on screen for what seemed like 3 mins. She better than that, either get a no name, or give her a bigger part.
