Honestly I feel that the Critic Reviews vastly underrated this movie especially when you compare the critics ratings for shit like transformers.. I can admit that the story especially during the earlier scenes grated me a little, This movie has a unique blend of the surreal, humour brutal physicality and romance that somehow just works.

It had a profound emotional impact on me at least. Even as a fan of movies in general the cinematography and sound production deserves far more credit than it is given.
