Ferris Bueller for the gen-y set, Anton Yelchin plays the role with obvious fun and panache, Kat Dennings is great as the friend that tries to pull Charlie back to earth, and Robert Downey is great in a possibly self-reflecting role as the principal who can't stand who he is anymore.
