Review of Charlie Bartlett (2008) by Michael P — 19 Feb 2010
Much of this was pretty standard teen comedy fare as far as the Hollywood idea of how high schools operate, teenage relationships work, and how a single person can influence an entire school, but there was a gritty side added to it to great effect.
The premise is pretty interesting, and the characters all deviate from stereotypes fairly well (and are performed well for the most part). There were a few things that I think could have been developed more, but overall, it was very enjoyable.
