Review of Charlie Bartlett (2008) by Mariam C — 27 Jun 2010
This is a modern day tragic comedy. It is full of well developed characters, teenage emotions, and a heart wrenching story. It touches on issues of acceptance, drug use, loneliness, suicide, and growing up with parents who can't support themselves, let alone their children.
It's funny, sweet, and motivated. A great story, with great characters, and beautiful construction.
