Not as bad as everyone says, but Depp, sadly, can't hold a candle to Gene Wilder. A perfectly split Tim Burton film, definitely not one of his best, but not one of his worst by any stretch. My only real complaint is the fact that this one is far more about Wonka than it is about Charlie, which does bring the ride down a little, but not as heavily for me as it does for a lot of others.
