Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka is really a disservice to the entire story, but the real problem here is that it didn't need to be redone. Some day, TIm Burton should just make a movie called 'Johnny Depp'.
Plot twist: Johnny Depp is played by Helena Bonham Carter.
