Review of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) by Stephen H — 18 Apr 2013
This probably isn't a five-star film, but I'm giving it five for the pure entertainment quality. Visual marvel and dark quirky humor are two of my favorite secondary qualities in movies. This combines the two and does it in brilliant fashion.
Tim Burton is often hit or miss, but this is definitely one of his hits.
