As much as I love Tim Burton, and love Johnny Depp, I have to say that Gene Wilder was a much better Willy Wonka. Johnny Depp just made him seem as some high strung, damaged man that was stuck in a world of dreams and sugar.
The original movie was just so much more tasteful.
