When it works, such as with the fabulous set design and set pieces involving puppets and squirrels, it's great - but you would expect a lot more darkness from Tim Burton, Johnny Depp gets rather irritating, and you can't make the words of the Oompa Loompa's songs.
Bring back Gene Wilder.
