I feel no one understands between a adaptation and a remake tim burton is not remaking the same movie from 1971 he's making a movie that ( im sad to say this but sorry) actually following and respects the book even roald dahl hated the 1971 for many reasons this is a better adaptation then other but hey don't take my word read the book or look into yourself.
