Review of Charlie & Boots (2009) by Lilianetty L — 22 Apr 2011
Since the start you think is an emotional film, but is not, since from the start you know how this film will end!
Plot: This spoils everything....A father and son who travel from Victoria to Cape York to fulfill their lifelong ambition to fish off Australia's northern tip. Will the son make his father happy by fishing there? Will his father survive the traumatic death of his wife? No stars for this.
Acting: Paul and Shane were great, but I was expecting more of the rest of the cast. Maybe in their country they are awesome, but in here....is another story. So, one star for their effort (nice skills anyway).
Music: Don't like country music, but since it reminded me of that Simpson episode, I give it one.
To end this short review, 2 stars if 5. Yes, is slow, yes it's predictable, yes, is NOT recommended unless your very BORED and have not seen the film yet (since in the 7th Art world, is recommended to watch every single film, no matter if it's bad or good). Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO!!!!!!!!!! BLESS YOU ALL!!!
