This past weekend I finally received some movies from Netflex. How about that? Uh? One of the movies I received is called; "Charlie". I have been waiting for this movie to come to DVD ever since I heard of it. For some reason it takes some European movies a while to be released in the U.S. I don't know why either. All I have to say is that it was worth the wait for "Charlie". There are few things that the movie didn't explain. Such as who is this character and what is their relation to this character, is one of the very small issues I had with the movie but didn't ruin it for me. The lead actor Luke Goss is just plain hot. The cast which includes Luke Goss (of course, I just mentioned him) and Langley Kirkwood were some of the actors that brought this film to life. I'm not sure how accurate this film is to the autobiography about Charlie Richardson but I did like the action even though it was gruesome at times. This movie can be compared to "Good Fellows", "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", and ?Scarface?. "Charlie" is based on true life crime boss Charlie Richard's life during the decade of the 1960's. It's about his account of his and his gang's life during the course of a trial for torture. I must warn you though it is a bit brutal. If you okay with it then you are in store for one hell of a ride. Again I did have some issues with this movie but I would suggest this film to adults (due to the torture scenes). The DVD doesn't have any bonus features. Please see what you think. .
