Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Samantha B — 05 Nov 2007
Can you believe I'd never seen this before? The movie tells a simple story in a subtle style. It's about two men from two very different backgrounds who have similar dreams, but for different reasons.
Overall, the movie told a moral story - if you don't surrender your beliefs, and you play as a team, all will be fine. Of course, this is OK as long as you don't have individuality as your primary belief system.
Seriously, this is old-school, no frills film that tells the story without the fanfare. Warning - I loved it, but dear OH fell asleep.
