Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Jennifer L — 20 Nov 2007
Cable came to Quincy in 1982, enabling me to see "Chariots of Fire" approximately 482 times. I could recite the dialogue in my sleep.
No one does period films like the British and this is one of the best. Plus, the Vangelis score holds up surprisingly well for synthesizer-heavy '80s music (something that can't be said for other scores from roughly the same period, such as "Educating Rita").
