Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Shawn M — 07 Jan 2008
It's hard to make a 2-hour movie about running and keep it interesting. 'Chariots of Fire' manages to do this because of the sheer determination of its two main characters, Abrahams and Liddell, each of whom wants to run (and win) because of differing reasons.
.. but in the end, the two don't seem so different from one another at all. Accompanied by a terrific and very well-known soundtrack, which may often overshadow the story for those who haven't seen the film.
