Best Picture??!! Seriously?!! I mean it's okay but there are so many better movies from that year, some of which were nominated such as Raiders of the Lost Ark! This is also the same year that Das Boot wasn't even recognized.
In a perfect world Raiders would have taken best pic and Das Boot best foreign...one can dream. OH and there are some unintentionally funny parts in this film, particularly the Scottish athlete running.
