Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Eric G — 25 Jul 2012
I finally saw this famous film. What do I make of it? Incredible photography, very good story, solid acting, and of course a music theme made famous. But I found it slow. It's over 2h but shouldn't be.
Nevertheless, it's interesting to watch in light of the Olympics and how the games are now so different from 1924 when it is set, from the politics to the equipment. What has not changed is the human determination for performance.
And this is inspiring.
