Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Warren S — 15 Aug 2012
Some people were bored by this film, but I loved it! I thought the faith of Eric Liddell was what really made the film so good. My favorite part was when he took a stand at the Olympics and refused to run on a Sunday because he wanted to be in the Lord's house.
That always inspired me. I think it told a good story and I always liked the soundtrack, too. The scenes with Cheryl Campbell and Ian Charleson are terrific and I also enjoyed the story of Abrams, played by Ben Cross with the wonderful Ian Holm as his trainer.
