Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Andrew C — 15 Nov 2012
First off I love Indiana Jones:Raiders of the Lost Ark which the majority of people believed was robbed for the Best Picture Oscar by this movie. So of course I had to watch this and I can see why it sbeat out Raiders.
The acting by virtually everyone is spectacular. The story itself is actually quite interesting. Many say this should be one of the worse movies to win best picture. I say that that is pure bull. This movie is vastly better than many movies that are made today.
I feel that it is underappreciated and forgotten. Which is a shame because it is a fantastic movie.
