Review of Chariots of Fire (1981) by Steve S — 01 Dec 2009
This was probably a 5-star movie in 1981. It's still a very good movie, but it doesn't seem as moving as I had been led to believe. It's a bit disjointed, and it glosses over some of the most striking issues the characters face.
If you haven't seen it, I'd say watch it on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and don't feel too bad if you doze off halfway through.
