Am I one of a handful of people in movieland not to like this film? What is there to like? Athletes running in slow motion in string vests and baggy shorts, one of whom refuses to race on a Sunday for some crackpot religious reason.
It seems to me the film's only redeeming facet is the score provided by Vangelis.
