Revisited on BRD in advance of the 2012 Summer Games.
1924, the Paris Olympics, when only "civilized" nations competed for gold. If this film had anything to say, it was drowned out by the pretentious ( but apparently award-winning ) score. Slow death by ( also apparently award-winning ) tweed and crested blazer.
