Review of Charade (1963) by Riyako H — 28 Jun 2009
This is definitely one of the most elegant, sophisticated suspense films ever made. It's because of the perfect chemistry between Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant that you can't take your eyes off this film, and that's the thing that makes this classic film classic.
Who cares about the mystery about the murders? Actually the plot concerning the murders is rather weak, but that is not important. It's a shame that these days Hollywood does not make this kind of truly elegant and sexy film, just with witty converstations and just some kisses.
The casting is also gorgeous in this film.
