Review of Charade (1963) by Patrick B — 01 Jan 2010
Good murder mystery starring screen legends Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. It's hard not to find Charade very old fashioned, and very silly, but that's its charm. Theirs a lot to like about it, the stylish direction, the Henry Mancini score, and the chemistry between the two leads.
But I'm a fan of modern cinema, and this and many of the Hitchcock movies, just don't cater to my taste.
