Review of Charade (1963) by Mark S — 04 Dec 2011
Often referred to as 'the best Hitchcock film that Hitchcock never made', this is a clever thriller with a great cast. Cary Grant may have been getting on a bit by then, but he didn't look his age and his pairing with Audrey Hepburn was always going to work.
The witty script plays to their strengths, and although you know neither of the leads is ever really in danger, the film still has its moments of suspense.
