Review of Charade (1963) by Daniel G — 11 Dec 2011
In a moody for a mystery classic? This is a real cute flick, with a suspenseful plot that surprises the viewers. Grant and Hepburn are always classy and entertaining. Production, cast and direction are top notch, with wardrobe by Givenchi and music by Mancini.
Even almost fifty years after the film was made, you find yourself rooting against the odds for this interesting couple in an impossible situation.
