Review of Charade (1963) by Jon P — 24 Jun 2012
Clever, charming and wonderfully entertaining, Stanley Donen's star-studded crime-comedy is a solid 60s classic and a worthwhile watch. Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant share excellent chemistry and the film's riveting screenplay is packed full of unprecedented surprises and witty dialogue, both of which are well complimented by Donen's Hitchcockian approach to direction.
Comic relief is rife, the film's plot is absorbing and Hepburn is radiant throughout.
