Review of Chapter 27 (2007) by Glen V — 19 Feb 2008
I don't know why everyone hates this movie so much. I mean we can all agree that John Lennon was great and that it was a real tragedy, but is it such a sin to be curious about the man who inexplicably killed him? I could have lived without the random flash forwards and in some parts the emotion was completely driven by heavy handed music, but overall it was a really interesting portrait of an infamous and mysterious man, and if you read the transcript of Larry King's 1992 interview with Mark David Chapman, it's completely accurate, or at least accurate to Chapman's recollection of the truth.
