This movie is particular movie is a hard one to review. The storyline and the script I found to be a bit filmschoolish and a bit generic and no surprises to be found, and it stems from the fact that we know Mark David Chapman does shoot John Lenon! This particular story is a bit interesting, but nothing worthwhile and nothing that can carry a movie.

The film however is shot and executed good enough. The cast is just ok. The casting of Lindsey Lohan as Jude is a bit tacky and she just delievered her lines a bit flatly. As for the positives, there is only one: Jared Leto.

It isn't just the fact that Jared gained 62 pounds for the role, its that Jared fully becomes the character and inhabits the role. While the movie isn't all that good, his performance is layed and is a bit uncomfortable to watch as the movie progresses.

Jared I thought was maybe the only one who was bringing something to the character. He distrubs you while you are watchin the film. Overall, I think the film was a bit mediocore and this story really doesn't need to be told because there are no real answers to be found after you watch the film as it is based on an actual event.

The only real reason for watching this film is for the performance by Jared Leto as he distrubs you with a good performance, but he needed a better script to complement his performance. Overall, I'd say pass on it.
